The 09 competition is fast becoming a one-sided affair, as a result of some impressive race wins and training by the England Team. However, the 1/2 marathon presents a real opportunity for the Aussies to get back in the comp. With 20 points up for grabs, a win would get Australia right back in the competition.

The rigorous October training regime is geared entirely for this purpose, hopefully picking up the weekly total km points along the way.
