Harsh Training Regime
Contrary to the propaganda put out by Team Australia earlier this week, Team England have just completed an intense week of gruelling training that goes far beyond what we have seen so far this year.
They flew out to the UK last week to a secret training camp somewhere near Reading (England). The team was accompanied by two of the toughest trainers known in chuzwoza circles. They subjected the team to one of the most gruelling training regimes the team has ever experienced. Although most of the week was conducted under shroud of secrecy, some details have leaked out which give some idea of the intense pressure the team have had to endure. One training exercise called "Kids party with 25 2-5 year olds to be kept under control" has shocked some observers and led to accusations that Team England are going too far this time. This view was further reinforced when it came to light that Team England had been subjected to "A day out at the zoo".
Although the past week has not seen Team England add to their rowing total, they believe it will stand them in good stead for the rest of the competition.
They returned back to their training camp in Italy last night. Today they completed a light training session, rowing 14122 meters in one hour.
