Team England contest Aussie claims

A contraversial day for Chuzwoza '09. Whilst the Aussies claim that they reached the 100Km milestone first, Team England are contesting this claim. Although the Aussies logged the last of 3 rows at 12:02, Team England where completing their single 10K session at around the same time.

It is felt that Team England are at a disadvantage in the Milestone events due to Timezone differences. The English management are looking for a ruling from the competition committee to see if one of the following rules should be applied to make things even:

  • Timezones are not taken into account, but only one session per piece of equipment can be logged for a single day
  • Times are treated as relative - so times are logged in local time
  • Milestone winners are judged at the end of each day (GMT). If both contestents have reached the same milestone, points are awarded to both.

In other news, Team England have smashed their previous 2Km PB!
