The English team have conceded the points for the first milestone event. It appears the Aussies just sneaked it by a few minutes in typical do or die fashion. It has to be questioned if this was a sensible approach with the 2KM race less than 2 days away - time will tell.

During an emergency meeting of the Chuzwoza competition committee some rule changes where agreed after the Aussies finally saw sense and conceded the Timezone issue could give them an unfair advantage. The following two points agreed:

• Milestone completion will be judged using the local timezone of each competitor. E.g AUS complete their row at 18:02 local time (12:02 CET) and ENG complete at 12:12 CET - ENG will be judged to have won owing to the earlier local time.
• On the day of milestone completion, the update of the KM log can be delayed by 24 hours. Under all other circumstances the log should be updated ASAP after the session has ended
